31 PRAYERS FOR THE ADDICT
I LOVE
Genre: Christian Non-Fiction/Devotional/ Prayer
Loving an addict hurts. It doesn't matter how many times we promise ourselves that we will not be hurt again, there is a particular pain in knowing that one you love will do anything to have the object of his or her desire. Even if it means death. Even if it ruins their future--or yours. Especially when children pay for it. There is no more powerless feeling on earth. This book of prayers is meant to uplift the weary, soothe the brokenhearted, and call on the power of God to heal the addicts we love.

31 PRAYERS FOR WHEN LIFE ISN'T FAIR
Genre: Christian Non-Fiction/Devotional/ Prayer
Habakkuk 3:16 - I hear, and my body trembles; my lips quiver at the sound; rottenness enters into my bones; my legs tremble beneath me…
It is difficult to love and serve the Lord with a broken heart. It often seems that those who are heartless go their merry way and sail through life, while some who work tirelessly for the Lord and do their best to walk with God see disaster after disaster. There is no greater pain on earth than the loss of a child—except the loss of more than one child. Whether it is quick and unexpected or a long, agonizing march to the end, the pain cuts so deep that it takes our breath away. It makes no sense. But there are many things in life that leave us asking, "Why, God?" When life beats us up, when we can barely lift our head because we are so broken, it’s hard to remember that God is good—all the time. This book of “Life’s Unfair” prayers is meant to heal the broken, encourage the wounded and point us to the God who loves us infinitely and works all things together for our good.
